Here’s a brief summary of some of what we believe at Resurrection Church. For a more complete understanding of our beliefs, check out our Confession of Faith or contact the church to speak with one of our pastors.
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us. It is authoritative and true, and we must believe and follow it in all areas of life.
We believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He is one God who has eternally existed as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe Jesus Christ is Lord. He is the unique Son of God and the only way to peace with God, and one day He will return to judge the living and the dead.
We believe salvation is a gift from God that we receive by trusting Him. Jesus made salvation possible through His death and resurrection, and the Holy Spirit makes it real in our lives.
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in all true followers of Jesus and wants to release His gifts in and through them.
We believe water baptism is mandated for all believers and the Lord’s Supper is to be celebrated frequently.
We believe God has commanded us to love Him and to love others. These commands obligate us to share the good news of Jesus with those who do not yet know Him and to bless and help those in need.
We believe in the sacredness of human life, of God’s divine institution of marriage, and of God’s creation of each person as uniquely and biologically male or female.
